- The printing plates of the Willem III stamps consist of 100 stamps. It is often possible to accurately determine the position at which a stamp was placed on the printing plate.
5 Cent plate II.
More than ⅓ of the stamps of this plate have an open lower right corner. In ¼ of the stamps the upper outer frame line on the right is distorted and often combined with an open upper right corner. Due to the rapid wear of the plate, originally clear details are hardly recognizable anymore and even completely disappeared in later prints.
NVPH lists 4 stamps from plate II (1d-1g).
Variant NVPH NL 1e:
Most streaks of color have turned into streaks and have gotten smaller. The many dots around the stamp image and between the frame lines are less visible. Dots - at this stage - appear as printing coincidences. - 现在购买:
