The watermarked paper used for this issue changed several times over the period and the known sheet watermarks are listed below. In addition many values can also be found on a slightly thicker paper without watermark, but single specimens of these are not easily distinguishable.
- 1891 and 1892 printings – paper produced by William Collins, Sons &Co. watermarked with the firm's monogram and 'PURE LINEN WOVE BANK' in double-lined capitals
- 1892 printings - paper produced by William Collins, Sons &Co. watermarked with the firm's monogram and 'PURE LINEN WOVE BANK' in double-lined capitals with 'EXTRA STRONG' and '139' added
- 1893 printings – paper produced by Wiggins Teape & Co. watermarked 'W T & Co' in script letters in double-lined way border
- 1894 printings (except the ½d value) - paper produced by Wiggins Teape & Co. watermarked '1011' in double-lined figures
- 1894 printing of ½d value - paper produced by Wiggins Teape & Co. watermarked 'WIGGINS TEAPE & CO LONDON' in double-lined block capitals. - 现在购买:
