- The stamps shows two children with their typical body painting in the indigenous community of Paujil.
They belong to the Wãnsüjüt, or Puinave people. They occupy a transitional zone between the Amazon jungle and the plainlands of the colombian Orinoquia region, subsisting of itinerant horticulture by using the cutting and burning technique, fishing, hunting and gathering. They traditionally know a stellar calendar that marks the seasons and reproductive cycles of the animals and guides the livelihood activities.

- The Onbashira Festival ("Honored Pillars Festival") is a festival held every six years in the Lake Suwa area of Nagano Prefecture, Japan. The purpose of the festival is to symbolically renew the four shrine buildings at the Suwa Grand Shrine by felling sixteen fir trees, preparing them as honored pillars (onbashira), and transporting them down a mountain to the shrine, where they are erected at the four corners of each building.
The Onbashira festival is reputed to have continued uninterrupted for 1200 years.

During Satobiki, visitors marvel at the celebratory parades of dancers, performances and traditional songs that fill the streets of Shimosuwa. Part of the Satobiki parade is called Nagamochi, where performers carry a heavy trunk on a long, narrow pole. The pole bends under the weight of the trunk and creaks as the performers move forward. The performers’ steps and cane twirls are choreographed, and each group has their own unique style.

The climax of the festival is the Kiotoshi. Young men ride the 12-ton, 55-foot-long logs as they slide down a steep slope. Participants think it is a particular test of their courage and a chance to show valor.
