The livestock fair is an event that takes place annually in the month of June in the city of Montería, Córdoba, Colombia. It has been carried out since 1960 in order to commemorate the creation of the Department of Córdoba on June 18, 1952.
At the fair there are different events such as bovine contests, exhibitions, artisan fair, among others and brings together farmers from all over the country. San Pelayo, a municipality located in the Cordoba department, is the permanent seat of the National Festival of the Porro that is held annually between 29 June and 3 July and since 1977, to celebrate the two centuries of the founding of the municipality. "Casa de la Moneda" or Colombian Mint was founded by the Spanish military engineer Alonso Turrillo de Yebra in the 17th century. Since 1996 it houses the numismatic and art collection of the Bank of the Republic. It is located on 11th Street with Carrera 4, in the Colonial district of La Candelaria in downtown Bogotá.
