"ZERO'S MAIL" radioplay follows the story of German college student and violinist Rei (Gackt), his friend and science major exchange student Ryuichi (Jun Fukuyama) and their shared love interest Maria (Nana Mizuki) as Rei heads off to war to fight for Germany in World War II and is transformed by the Nazi scientists' RRProject into a cyborg supersoldier named Zero. It is revealed that Ryuichi joined the RRProject and purposefully selected Rei to be roboticized to keep Maria to himself.
The story connects to Gackt's album Gackt: Rebirth in that the memories of Rebirth's protagonist, Proto (who himself was roboticized by the RRProject and subsequently escaped and disappeared by the end of that album), are written over Zero's memories; Zero regains his own memories of his life as Rei only when Ryuichi prompts them at the moment of Zero's deactivation by firing squad after the failure of the RRProject near the end of the war. Scenes 24 and 25 of "ZERO'S MAIL" consist of the song "Lost Angels", with Scene 25 including dialogue from Rei over the final 18 seconds of the song. - 现在购买:
