  At around 4pm on the 1st of October 2011, veteran broadcaster and beloved fixture of The game Sandy Roberts was furious. ‘What is this shit’ he raged over the phone to our man Trentacles. This meatloaf is a shocker, what a travesty, importing high priced stinkers for what? Is this what our once mighty game has been reduced to? Trentacles knew better than interrupt one of Roberts infamous tirades. “You know music Trentacles, we need an anthem, something to unite the masses behind this great game of ours - this generations ‘up there Cazaly, ‘ free from all the bullshit macho dude bro stuff, can you do it? The game needs you.
  
  Well safe to say trentacles went straight to work weaving his magic in that unique way only he can. But fate is a cruel mistress, and shortly afterwards Sandy Roberts was boned by the AFL shareholders and the new administration didn’t take kindly to Trentacles refreshing take on AFL culture. So they paid him out and shelved it, used it as a tax write off, and told him it could never see the light of day.
  
  Trentacles was disappointed, but recognised that this can be the cost of engaging in the highly policitcal cut and thrust of afl hq. And was content to let it lie. Until now.
  
  With yet another racism furore gripping the beleaguered league and Sandy Roberts ghost ringing in his ears Trentacles has answered the call, and decided to hell with lawsuits, it’s time to stand up and save the game once and for all. So Here it is, the anthem you’ve all been waiting for, a return to what the game is all about. It’s what we like to call ‘football.’
