- 说明:
- The album cover shows an excerpt from ‘Triumph of Death’, a 15th century wall fresco in Palermo that refers to the text of Revelation 6.8:
“I looked up and saw a horse whose color was pale green. Its rider was named Death, and his companion was the Grave. These two were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and famine and disease and wild animals.” (Revelation 6.8)
The fast drums in ‘1335’ make direct reference to this and imitate the brisk gallop of death. The Latin words sound angry and admonishing at the same time. - And that is how they are intended.
It is the year “1335”. The plague begins to spread in Asia before spilling over into Europe. “The plague has often been used as an allegory to denounce great, devastating plagues, and this text can be read as a warning of the new, current dangers threatening our civilisation”, explains Olivier Tarabo. The video clip for “1335” shows this civilizational downfall particularly drastically by replacing the audience with corpses. - 现在购买:
