"Outbox" and "Sent messages"Whenever you send a private message (PM) it stays in your "Outbox" UNTIL the other collector has read it. So if a message was moved to "Send Messages" you know it has been read. So if a message stays long in your "Outbox" it does not mean there's a problem with Colnect but simply that the other collector didn't read your message.

So, if after a while the message is still in the "Outbox," meaning the receiving party hasn't read it, what happens if I delete the message? Does it disappear from the recipient's inbox?
It appears in the recipient's inbox as a message that has been deleted and he/she cannot read it, only delete it from his/her inbox.

As a general etiquette rule, you shouldn't delete the message in your 'Outbox' for at least a month. Otherwise, the receiver has a bunch of messages that he/she can't read.
