[Resolved] Very complicated, time-consuming and expensive exchange

I would like to share with you a story that happened to me recently.

The collector “jouisinter” sent me a message on 01/14/2025 proposing an exchange of stamps. We arranged an exchange and I sent the stamps he requested on 01/20/2025 (registered letter RR224418891BR).

He received the stamps on 02/06/2025 and he even wrote to me thanking me.

I sent him a large quantity of excellent stamps, with high values.

However, the stamps that “jouisinter” promised me never arrived, and I suspect they were never sent.

I charged him several times by message and, many days later, “jouisinter” sent me a registered letter code (RI034866783MX).

I looked for this shipment on the website of the Mexican Post Office (https://www.correosdemexico.gob.mx/SSLS ... 34866783MX).

According to the Mexican Post Office, this letter left Mexico on 10/1/2024 and was received in Croatia by ZELJKOBIZACKI on 12/27/2024. In other words, this letter has nothing to do with our agreement. I have asked for explanations twice and have not received any.

This type of behavior is incompatible with the positive reviews of this collector. That is why I am confused and feel wronged.

El correo en México no es tan rápido como en otros países.

No tengo ninguna calificación negativa.

Hay cartas que me han tardado hasta 8 meses en llegar. Caso de Cuba. Y no culpo al que me la envio.

El problema solo es que quiere recibir muy rápido el envio. Y eso no esta en mis manos. Es cuestión del correo. En correos me informan que la carta va en camino sin ningún problema.

Espero que cuando la reciba sea honesto y reconosca que no es justo difamar con un envio que no lleva mucho tiempo en ser enviado.

El correo en México demora entre un mes y hasta 2 en envio foraneos dependiendo la región del mundo donde fue enviada.

En conclusión

La carta fue enviada. Solo que el no quiere esperar en que llegue.

En cuanto el sistema me informe que la recibio

Lo informare en este foro para desmentir.

@jouisinter, please provide the correct tracking number. Actually the whole thing wouldn't have happened if you had provided it to your swap partner as requested several times. Giving revenge ratings isn't allowed on Colnect and causes account deactivation. You have received the package from your swap partner, so, please, change the rating to the correct one within 24 hours.

You initially provided your swap partner with a different tracking number that in fact caused all this misunderstanding. @karkache please, change the rating you gave to your swap partner to the "swap-in-progress" neutral rating. Let us know when you receive the package from jouisinter.

I checked the websites of the Mexican and Brazilian Post Offices regarding the code RP758857825MX. The Mexican Post Office website does not identify the recipient, but it confirms the shipment on a date close to what we agreed (02/26/2025). The Brazilian Post Office does not indicate that the package arrived in our country. Therefore, I cannot be sure that this package really came to me and that it contains what was agreed. However, considering that @jouisinter finally responded to the various requests for clarification, I will change my evaluation (provisionally) to positive, in order to not cause harm to @jouisinter. However, I will leave my final evaluation for when I receive and inspect the material.

I would like to conclude by praising the Colnect Coordination for their actions and say that, regardless of whether the material was sent or not, @jouisinter's attitude is very disrespectful and not very transparent, and that I will not trade with him again for this reason. He could have avoided all of this if he had simply taken the care to give me the correct code and provide me with guarantees, just as I did for him.

The stamps sent by @jouisinter arrived today (10/04/2025). I also had to pay R$ 280.00 (43 euros) in customs fees to receive them (this is the first time they have bought from me in exchanges of this type). But that's okay, I consider this complaint closed.
