[Resolved] missing stamps problem

Hello,

I just completed an exchange with @tanel and it ended badly.

He owed 75 stamps for +80 food labels and I added some bonus gifts.

he delivered 61 of them to me, 10 of which were duplicates

He replied that I too had sent him duplicates and items that he doesn't collect, but the tea tags were given as gifts and the Danette food labels are not duplicates because the back is different (different jokes about the metal part).

He also tells me that if I am not happy, I should not write to him anymore... He runs away from the problem without solving it.

That's why I want him to send me the rest of the stamps provided for in the basic agreement.

Here are the messages of interest to our story. They are blurry (a little) but that's because of the reduction system to make the file 8kb as requested by the site.

I hope that this mediation will help us find a simple agreement for my situation because sending me an incomplete order because he received "duplicates and items that are not collectible" is outrageous when it came to gifts generously added from myself to his order.

Cup lids collectors is very few in world who want to swap cup lids for cup lids. Mostly cup lids collectors collect only one's own country cup lids and not want cup lids from other countries.

Yes, it's the same stamp twice, and he knows it from the photo I sent.

Yes, I sent him gifts (which he didn't get either...)

So, for a duplicate stamp on the envelope (which has nothing to do with our original exchange) and a bad gift, @tanel allows us to remove more than 20 stamps from our exchange...

I sent 61 Estonian stamps in return. Of these 61 stamps, 7 were commemorative stamps and 54 were Estonian definitive stamps.

As you can see from our correspondence - I have never promised to send 87 Estonian stamps with ratio 1:1.

Because stamps are more valuable and expensive than food labels (cup lids).

I estimated the exchange value of 7 Estonia commemorative stamps at 1:3 for food labels, 15 Estonia definitive stamps with a high face value at 1:2 for food labels. Remaining 39 Estonia definitive stamps I sent with swap rate 1:1 for food labels.

Why Evann writes that I owe him 75 stamps, I don't know.

I don't have more Estonian definitive stamps to offer him at an exchange ratio of 1:1. I can send, for example, 20 different Ukrainian definitive stamps as compensation if he wishes.

@tanel Thanks for the reply. While negotiating you agreed to swap definitive stamps for cup lids with the 1:1 ratio and since you haven't clearly agreed how many and which exactly items will be sent (which should be normally done) this can be considered a "blind" swap. You may not reconsider swap conditions after receiving the package from your swap partner and change them yourself without agreeing with the swap partner. Thus your swap is incomplete and you have to send remaining items to your swap partner.

@Parisien-du-78 are you fine with the offer of tanel? Please, let your swap partner know which items you need to have the swap completed.
