I sent Giorgio 660+ Japanese stamps about 6 months ago. I indicated I was looking for the equivalent catalog value in Italy stamps form my wish list. Instead, I received 660 low value Italy stamps that were already in my collection. Giorgio assumed I needed them since they were not marked in my collection. I tried to explain to him I have 100,000's of stamps in my collection and am not taking the time to list them all at this time. I would like my stamps returned or send me some stamps with equal value. I mailed his stamps back to him several months ago and Giorgio claims he hasn't received them. If you entertain swapping with Giorgio, I would suggest he send you stamps first for your inspection before sending him anything.

After he received my stamps, he sent many nice stamps. Nine items were on the original list of stamps I had chosen from his swap list and expected. Nice stamps were exchanged; we had a few communication problems. As a result of this swap, I've updated a note on my profile to include: "Since I often have multiple swaps in progress, it is helpful to know what people are planning to send, so want lists can be updated before later swaps. That way duplicate items are not received. Confirmation of what will be sent is appreciated."

After a very frustrating 6 months and the exchange of over 30 messages, I believe that giving Giorgio a neutral rating is the right thing to do. Very few of the second lot of replacement stamps were actually on my Wish List.
