Hi, my name is Joel Block. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I started collecting trading cards in the 1960s. I remember buying Batman (1966), The Green Hornet and Baseball cards for 5 cents a pack, that works out to be a penny a card. Unfortunately, I didn’t take care of most of my vintage cards when I was a child.

As I grew older, I remember buying Star Wars (1977) and Superman (1978) at 7-Eleven for 15 cents a pack. As I got older, my interests changed. I started to also collect postage stamps and movie and TV memorabilia. I now collect gift cards of all kinds, especially if they have movie and TV images pictured on the cards. I am looking forward to having a better understanding of how Colnect works so that I can trade away my extras for gift cards that are on my wish list.

I have a large inventory of movie posters.

I also am interested in collecting bottle caps, matchbooks and matchboxes, cereal boxes, other food items that picture characters, coins, banknotes, expired credit cards and more.
