I am currently retired having spent most of my life in the transport logistics area and the music industry, but mainly as a photographer. I have tried my hand at painting, writing poetry and for a while, entering a monastery for the simplest of lives.....

I am an ardent, faithful supporter of the famous Glasgow Celtic Football Club, I also take great pleasure in watching my home city, Sheffield United FC achieve success.

In 2008 I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, High Functioning and OCD tendencies.

In 2024, I was severely ill and if not for the life-saving double surgery of a double lower-leg amputation, I wouldn't be here today.

I returned with a serious thought on stamp collecting in 2019, my first major subject was :-

Vatican City - Stamps, FDC, Postal History, which then I then decided to extend this subject, albeit singularly to all things ecclesiastical philately related, from Festivals, Churches, Cathedrals, Stained Glass, Religious Icons and famous religious people from all denominations.

I also seriously collect stamps and FDC, Postal History of the Soviet Union, USSR, Russia.

The same applies to China.

This year's two main projects are :-

The World Cup (1930 : 2022) Stamps and FDC, Postal History from all the host nations that the World Cup took place in.

Argentina : Air Mail Issues.

There will be more to follow as I throw myself deeper into this wonderful hobby.
