Reprints, using new stones from retouched dies, shows several shades, on thin to moderately thick, white or yellowish paper. They are without gum or with white, crackly gum. The marks of retouching are clearly visible in the sea and clouds. On the original 10c the shield in the upper left corner has two blank sections; on the reprints the design of this shield is completed.
