First lithographic form
The vertical and horizontal hatching lines of the background are discontinuous and form a spotted background.
Stamp is brown-yellow, perforated and imperforate. Secret signs of the first lithographic form: On the right, the lower line of the frame and the horizontal line located 2.4 mm above it protrudes to the right beyond the frame by 0.1 - 0.2 mm. Most brands have both tabs, some only have one. The stamps of this denomination have characteristic differences in the elements of the inscription ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ Ս. Խ. ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅԻԻՆ (Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic):
• For a real stamp, the lower tail of the letter "Հ" almost touches the frame, while a fake one does not have a tail.
• A real stamp has a dot after the letter "Խ", but a fake dot does not.
• For a real stamp, the leg of the letter "Տ" in the word ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅԻԻՆ (Republic) is beveled to the right, while for a fake one it is straight and shorter.
• The last letter "Ն" almost touches the frame and often merges with it, while the false one has a gap of about 0.3 - 0.4 mm between the letter and the frame.
Second lithographic form
The vertical and horizontal hatching lines of the background are continuous and form a solid background.
Stamp light orange, only imperforate. Secret signs of the second lithographic form: The same as the first lithographic form, but horizontal lines protrude beyond the frame somewhat more by 0.2 - 0.3 mm.
Attention! Stamps without secret signs are forgery.
