The Electrification of the Caroni (EDELCA) was founded in 1963 as a company supervised by the Venezuelan Corporation of Guyana (CVG) and was in charge of the hydroelectric sector in the Guayana region. EDELCA was the largest electricity generation company in Venezuela, producing about 75% of the electricity consumed in that country.
The central objective of CVG EDELCA was to develop the hydroelectric power of the Caroní River and its basin; since then the company was dedicated to generating, transporting and marketing electrical energy. - 现在购买:
