- Overprint black or red on ME 2III. The letters overprint of this issue are similar to the previous one, but with a lot less damage. Overprint error characteristic for this issue is "1494" instead of "1493". There are very "near to the original" forgeries of this issue. In 1893 Montenegro was celebrating a significant. In fact, 400 years before (in 1493) the Obod typography printed the first book among the South Slavs - "Oktoih". It was the first public (runned by the state) typography in the world. At the time, even in Moscow there was no typographies, and many other European cultural centers are not able to boast of such an achievement. In 1893 the typography in Cetinje was very poorly equipped, perhaps even poorer than the Obod typography, 400 years earlier. Nevertheless, the Principality of Montenegro did not miss the opportunity to celebrate this important event, and it was issued a commemorative series of stamps. Specifically, this release consisted of the preceding regular issues (II, III and IV) which are overprinted in Cetinje with: "Printing House Anniversary 1493-1893".
