This design exists with three different background colours; lavender, turquoise green and rose pink. Stanley Gibbons does not list these various background colours separately, they just give a single catalog number. On Colnect this catalog number has been assigned to the stamp with a lavender background.
Dangerous forgeries exist as imperforate versions which were all created after the original printing company was dissolved in 1990. Very few genuine imperforate versions were found in the printers archive which were sold in the liquidation auctions at Christie's/Robson Lowe.
