Stamps submitted by agent representing Benin's Postal administration to the UPU, but then later declared invalid for postage by Benin postal authorities, and not released in Benin.

The text located under the 2003 listings in the Michel 2013 version in the boxed frame notes "Einige Vignetten mit Landesnarmen "Benin" und Wertangaben wurden angeblich von derselben Druckerel, die auch MiNr. 1345-1349 hergestellt hat, ohne postalischen Auftrag produziert und demzufolge von der Post nicht amtlich ausgegeben oder als Frankatur anerkannt. Es handelt sich um Satze und Blocks mit den Motiven .Leuchtturme", .Hunde", .Mineralien", .Pilze" und 'Gemalde" sowie um einen block 'Tor ohne Weiderkehr". Diese Stucke sind keine Briefmarken und werden nicht katalogisiert."

Translated to English it reads "Some vignettes with the country's name "Benin" and value information were allegedly printed by the same printer who also issued MiNr. 1345-1349, produced without a postal order and therefore not officially issued by the post office or recognized as franking. These are sets and blocks with the motifs "Lighthouses", "Dogs", "Minerals", "Mushrooms" 和 "Paintings" as well as a block "Gate without return". These pieces are not stamps and are not cataloged."
