Red overprint on Mi:GR 430
During the Italo-Greek war of 1940-41, territories of North Epirus were recaptured by the Greek army. The necessity to use stamps led to overprinting regular, charity and postage due stamps. The Red Overprint "ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΔΙΟΙΚΗΣΙΣ" (Hellenic Administration) was carried out on twenty stamps from both the regular and the airmail issues of 1940 for the National Youth Organisation (E.O.N.)
