- Series of vignettes of different colors issued as part of the national subscription opened in 1930 for the erection, in Rivesaltes (Pyrénées-Orientales), city where was born, on January 12, 1852, Joseph Jacques Césaire Joffre, of an equestrian statue to his glory. The monument was inaugurated on November 22, 1931, the same year of his death, which occurred in Paris, on January 3, 1931; it is the work of the Parisian sculptor Auguste Maillard, the architect Jacques Laffilée, son-in-law of the marshal, and the entrepreneur Victor Bollard.
