It appears that some non‐bonafide persons or organization is responsible for this illegal business Whose sole aim is nothing but to use these labels for propaganda purposes, to create confusion and derive financial gain by unauthorized philatelic sale of these stamps."
Karim Ahmed Alharemi, Director‐General, Posts, Telegraphs and Telephones, of the Sultanate of Oman stated at the same time, "These labels (they could not be called anything else) have no postal validity and are being issued solely to derive financial trade.
