The printing plates of the Willem III stamps consist of 100 stamps. It is often possible to accurately determine the position at which a stamp was placed on the printing plate.

5 Cent Plate V.
In 80% of these stamps, the top and outer frame lines are thinly flared on the left and right. More than ¾ of the stamps have been retouched in the "POST" frame, whereby the lines for the "“P”" have been strengthened to a greater or lesser extent and almost always drawn from bottom to top. Over ⅓ of the stamps have a retouch or a blank spot in the "cent" 框架.
NVPH lists 2 stamps from plate V (1o and 1p).

Variant NVPH NL 1o:
These first prints of plate V have a bright blue color. Later prints are blue to light blue to a shade of greenish blue.
