On April 10,1959, a marriage ceremony of Their Majesties the Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko was held. To commemorate their golden wedding anniversary, Two stamps and a souvenir sheet were issued. Each stamps depict the items related to their marriage ceremony. Also, "Reihou Hikaku Zu Byoubu", offered when His Majesty the Emperor Akihito was born in December 23, 1933, is depicted as its background of the sheet.
