说明:: Heritage of the Museum of Ethnography and Natural History of Moldova.
In the Summer of 1963, a farmer from Lărguţa (district of Cantemir, in the south-west of the country), Dumitru Raicu, discovered by chance in his field, following heavy rain, a real treasure consisting of a gold pot and 21 gold coins, a 2,300 year old treasure.
This ensemble was studied at the time by the archaeologist A. Nudelman, who handed it to the National Museum of Archeology and History and then to the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History where this treasure is preserved (but does not seem to be exposed to the public because of its great value).
