This stamp has been released to mark the 25th anniversary of the Constitutional Law on the Statehood of the Republic of Latvia adopted by the Supreme Council of the Republic of Latvia in 1991. The Law restored the national independence of Latvia based on the principles contained in the Constitution of 1922.
