The Litomyšl chateau in East Bohemia is one of the jewels of the Czech renaissance. The chateau is a solid four-winged block surrounding two arcaded courtyards. Š. Vlada decorated the facades and chimneys with sgrafitti, whose motifs are not repeated anywhere else in the building.
