The Escuela Superior de Guerra (High school of War) is a military college, founded in 1909 during the reforms of President Rafael Reyes, himself a former general.
Aimed in training the superior officers of the military forces, the future generals and admirals of the National Army, the National Navy and the Colombian Air Force, on issues of national security and defense. Additionally, several postgraduate academic programs are also offered for non-military professionals who wish to train as high-level advisers on issues related to national security and defense; Human rights and international law of armed conflicts; cyber security and cyber defense; strategy and geopolitics.
