The issue commemorates the third anniversary of South Ossetia's recognition of the Donetsk People's Republic's independence.
There is a conflict with this series due to one stamp designed and printed in the name of the Republic of South Ossetia. If removed from the pair, it in itself would be considered an illegal stamp as all stamps in the name of South Ossetia are illegal stamps.
