说明:: All songs are the creation of Bob "Barlog" Shirley. The samples used to create these songs came from many sources, many forgotten. All songs were created on an Amiga 300 using Protracker and Fast Tracker II. The mods were converted to wavs on a PC using Winamp, and burned to CD using Easy CD Creator. The labels were made using both CD Stomper software and Easy CD Creator. All proceeds from sales goes to The American Heart Association in Loving Memory of Virginia P. Shirley 1924-2000. I love ya Mom!

In the late '80s and early '90s I was in some local St. Louis bands named Rastafarian Tweed, Angus Tweed, Must Be Monday, and Busted. I was an average musician at best, mainly because I enjoyed playing music much more than learning how to play music. Despite my best efforts I did learn some things about the craft, most of which were not apparent in any of the groups I was in. Although I have a wide range of musical taste, I like to write my music mainly in the funk genre. Most of the songs in this collection are funk with a couple rock/pop tunes tossed in for your enjoyment. These songs were written between 1992 and 1997 and are some of my personal favorite creations. Using computers to create songs is nothing new and there is a neat underground scene in what are known as MOD files. It allowed me to create the sounds in my head in a professional manner without having to go through the pain of improving my musical playing abilities. All bass sounds are sampled from my Gibson Studio Bass. Vocals on Get the Funk are mine, and all other vocals are sampled. All other samples were gathered over the years through the MOD community or were ripped by myself. The songs created with these samples are now presented for your enjoyment. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them.
