"中国普票 05237" 和 "中国普票 05238" on sleeves, "中国普票-05237" 和 "中国普票-05238" on blue 'herald' labels, with stereo absent in the incoming 1979 manner. Offered again in April 1979, via the 7th "Words & Music" 杂志.

This recording [made in 1954] was originally from mono tapes. It has been electronically reprocessed to give a stereo effect when played on stereophonic equipment. David Pickett is credited as the Processed Stereo Engineer.

Issued in the 1978 Christmas promotion, it was subsequently issued in the regular W.R.C. catalogue, in July 1979 (by which time, new releases no longer featured "stereo" at bottom left of the labels - present here). Also issued on cassette.

The sleeve and label layout is the same on all, but they are in different colours - one pink, one lime-green, and one in a very dark aqua blue. The order of release is unknown. The 1979 might be expected to lack the word "stereo" at 7 o'clock on the labels, but it is not so... Other versions may exist, and there may have been two pressings one year.

Except for the now black & white front page, the 4-page insert is unchanged from the 1969 1st pressing, with its 1969 address combination. Issued at least once more, in April 1979 (presumably in a different colour scheme, with a raw cardboard lining, and/or with "stereo" absent from bottom left of the labels, but WRC were not consistent in updating their reissues).
