Dark ambient, drone, experimental, and noise (ambient, harsh, minimal, and otherwise) all come together to form WITH LOVE AND NOISE. This benefit compilation includes work from 184 projects in total from all over the world in honor of Daniel Lund and his DIY label mima kass.
For those that don’t know, Daniel suffered a brain hemorrhage at the end of 2025. It was annnounced (for obvious health and economic reasons) that mima kass would be closing down. However since that time, Daniel has announced that he will keep things going for as long as he can. He's determined to get out merch that was already near completion before his health emergency occurred. And he’s even been working on new projects as a means of therapy throughout his recovery journey. Output will be notably slower of course, but the quality will remain.
Amazingly, Daniel has also offered to create a physical release for this compilation. He has plans for a beautiful bundle of a condensed version (reduced to 12 hours onto eight c90s), 一个 "WITH LOVE AND NOISE" t-shirt, and a patch. *This will be a limited run of 35 copies.* Price and date of release are still to be announced. Of course when we have more information we’ll be sure to share details. All we can tell you for now is that work has already begun on the bundles and that they will be available at some point. In the meantime, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding regarding the physical’s release.
