CD1 - Tracks 1 to 10: From the original release of Violent Femmes Slash #23845 (一月 1983). Recorded at Castle Recording Company, Lake Geneva, WI (七月 1982).
CD1 - Tracks 11 to 19: Track 13 first issued on the album Add It Up (1981-1993), Slash/Reprise #45403 (九月 1993). All other demos previously unissued. Recorded at Mark Van Hecke's Home Studio, Milwaukee, WI (Fall 1981).
CD1 - Tracks 20 to 21: Rough Trade [UK] single #147 (十二月 1983). Recorded at Music Works, London, England (31st August-1st September 1983).
CD2 - Tracks 1 to 4: Track 1 first issued as a flexi-disc in "Alternative Press" 杂志. All other selections previously unissued. Recorded live at the Beneath-It-All Café, Milwaukee, WI (12th September 1981)
CD2 - Tracks 2 to 8: Previously Unissued. Recorded live at The Jazz Gallery, Milwaukee, WI (8th December 1981).
CD2 - Tracks 9 to 13: Previously unissued. Recorded live at Folk City, New York, NY (26th January 1983).
CD2 - Tracks 14 & 15: Previously unissued. Recorded live on the program "High Noon", WHA Radio, Madison, WI (6th February 1982).

The CDs were made in different countries at different pressing plants. The CD1 face label states "Made in France by PRS" and the CD2 matrix states "Made in the U.K. by PDO".
