He’s my friend, he send me very nice notes, I recomend to all the community of Colnect.

Gerard approached me for a swap 4 months ago. We agreed to the swap proposition and sent letters to each other next week. He received my letter in 2 weeks time and he acknowledged the same. His letter, even though sent from France, did not show up in tracking website detail. After 2 weeks it started showing up as somewhere in Italy. And after that there is no update of the letter. After one month of not receiving the letter, I contacted Gerard and asked him to raise a complaint with French post and possibly ask for a compensation. He did not reply to my messages. After more than 2 months of sending the letter and me asking him repeatedly to resolve the issue, he messaged me saying that the letter is probably lost and he cannot make a claim now as it's been more than 2 months and that he will send me some other banknotes to compensate the loss. This was one month ago. After that I am sending him messages constantly. He is coming online daily but not seeing my messages and ignoring them. They are still in unread state. I also proposed him to send me my original banknotes back and he is still not responding to those messages. I am highly disappointed in the behavior of a swapper who has so many positive ratings on colnect and is a premium member. I did not want to provide a negative rating (I waited for more than 4 months for him to resolve the issue) but now that he has stopped replying to my messages, I have no other way than to provide negative rating. I hope some moderator from Colnect can try to solve my matter with Gerard. The tracking number of the letter that he sent is - LA025538246FR. I am not even sure why it starts with LA. Registered letters' tracking number usually starts with R.
