E' la prima volta che mi succede, Assam tre mesi fa mi scrive per chiedermi se voglio scambiare francobolli, Guardo le recensioni e vedo che sono quasi tutte positive. Alla mia risposta affermativa mi dice che lui scambia solo dai 300 francobolli in su, purtroppo accetto e dopo qualche giorno spedisco, e nell'informarlo che avevo spedito chiedo se lui era riuscito a spedire lo scambio, lui mi risponde che siccome io sono nuovo e lui è da molti anni su colnect, la prassi è che prima riceve la mia busta e poi spedirà. Faccio fatica ad accettarlo e dopo uno scambio di mail sgradevoli decido di aspettare. Ad oggi sono passati 3 mesi ed io non ho ancora ricevuto i suoi francobolli, non so se sono sfortunato o il destino ha deciso così, ma non mi era mai capitato, su colnect ho sempre trovato persone gentili e collaborative, disponibili e se ho fatto un paio di volte un errore mi hanno permesso di ripararlo senza conseguenze, è la prima volta che trovo una persona come Assam. Non lo voglio più sentire anche se mi regalasse il doppio di francobolli che mi deve lo sconsiglio vivamente. Finally, after 3 months, the envelope has arrived, the stamps will all be there and of good quality (I haven't looked yet) but every phase of this exchange negotiation has been unpleasant, not to mention humiliating, the mistrust of the interlocutor and the ways which the exchange negotiation required (after having received mine and not before), and the unpleasant tones of the exchange of mails have made it so that even if the stamps received are up to the ones I sent 3 months ago and since received him after 7/8 days, leads me to think that: For me, collecting stamps is fun, not a chore or a humiliation and this exchange was neither fun nor rewarding on an empathic level, so it is an experience that I would gladly do without, never mind, there are people like him and others much better. That's how life goes.

This is the first time in many years here in COLNECT that this type of thing happens to me. A collector would not wait to receive the stamps that I sent him, and instead, take negative action before that, without even trying to resolve this issue with me! Obviously, from my side, and as I always try to get to a satisfying agreement with all collectors, I tried to solve this problem by offering him to send new stamps, and more so, to give him a compensation if needed, but he wouldn’t even listen to what I have to offer! I joined COLNECT more than 13 years ago, and in this time, I managed to receive more than 400 positive ratings with collectors from all around the world, which with some, I managed to exchange several times. These positive feedbacks are a demonstration to my credibility here in COLNECT. I don’t believe I deserve this kind of negative attitude and bad behavior from Eugenio!
