背面: The quatrefoils originally featured on the reverse of the gold Franc of Jean II on horseback (1360) have been modernized to stand alongside the sovereign. Accompanied by vegetal crosses, these decorative elements are evocative of the emerging Gothic style; date at right 2025. Motto ↻ at left ◆ ÉGALITÉ ◆ FRATERNITÉ and ⤻ at bottom LIBERTÉ (equality, fraternity, freedom).
