背面: An allegorical depiction: Hebe, the Greek goddess of youth and knowledge, with her raised right hand offers the cup of knowledge to the eagle symbolising the nation. The female figure holds a shield in her left hand, and as the Hungarian coat of arms is on the shield, the depiction can also be interpreted as Hungaria. Johann Nepomuk Ender’s painting of 1834 served as the basis of the coin depiction; the painting immortalised the allegory for the Hungarian Academy Sciences as chosen by István Széchenyi; date at bottom left 2025.
