- Renowned among Star Trek fans, the United Federation of Planets’ Starfleet Command’s iconic insignia, known as the ‘delta shield’, was the inspiration behind this 3oz silver coin set. Incorporating a central inner coin which replicates the symbol’s distinctive shape and an outer coin, the set is reminiscent of Australia’s historic holey dollar and dump coin.
Star-struck Design
The reverse of the coin set portrays the Starfleet Command emblem. The central delta-shaped two-coin depicts a coloured star, while the outer coin portrays the inscription ‘STARFLEET COMMAND UNITED FEDERATION OF PLANETS’. Both designs incorporate The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Presentation Packaging and Numbered Certificate
