Collector

A collector is a person who puts a significant amount of time to collecting items of interest, usually of a specific category such as coins or stamps, that are not essential to their everyday activities, into a collection. As the definition is very subjective, many collectors do not identify themselves as collectors when they begin collecting.

On Colnect, we sometimes refer to members as Colnectors. Volunteering Colnectors, known as contributors, may become editors and translators.
