Regular cancellation

With Regular cancellation we mean all the postmarks normally used to cancel postal values ​​(postage stamps, postal stationery ...) and prevent their reuse. Initially they were simple "ink blots", later information such as the city and post office where used and the date were added.

Rules

• ONLY POSTMARKS, WHICH ARE READABLE!
• The difference between postmarks of the same city must be visible.
• Only one postmark per type for each city / post office.
• The name of the city is used as written on the postmark, even if it has changed in history
• Unless specified in the postmark, the current administrative division is used, even if it has changed in history.
• If the current administrative division no longer belongs to the country that issued the postmark, a fictitious administrative division "FA - Former Administrations" is created.
• The postmarks of post offices on trains, ships and ferries will have the series "TPO - Travelling Post Office". In the code, the city will be formed by the initials of the cities at the three terminus (eg Torino-Milano = Tor-Mil; Appenweier-Oppenau = App-Opp)
• The postmark must be legible to be able to assign the code.
• If you have any postmarks not yet cataloged in Colnect, send a nifiller with only one copy (one of each type not yet present). Wait for it to be coded and included in the lists below, then enter the other copies in your possession.

Compilation of the Nifiller:

Series - Enter the administrative division the city is currently located in.

If not yet listed, enter the location where postage was used, grouping by administrative division as per ISO 3166-2 code in the following format:

Province: BL - Belluno

The ISO 3166-2 codes can be found on Wikipedia (Example, Italy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:IT)

Format - From the list choose "Postmark"

Subformat - From the list choose "Regular cancellations"

Unique name - Insert the writings present in the postmark

Date issued - Date present in the postmark

Catalog code - It consists of Country City Type variants

Country = IT (for Italy)

City = City where the regular cancellation was used as it appears in the postmark. For names consisting of two or more words, the first letters (capitalized) of the second name is used. (Example:Cortina d'Ampezzo = CortinaA)

Articles and prepositions such as sur or am are not considered as words for this rule. See the detailed instructions for a listing.

Type = choose the type in the list below

Variants = If present, the name or number of the post office where it was issued. Distinguish postmarks of identical codes by a dash followed by a number (example: FR Toulouse CA1 Gare/10)

The stamp was entirely covered by these cancellations while a postmark was affixed with the indication of the date and time.
